If you put dairy products in the freezer, does it lengthen the bad label date?

yeah, i got er back in january and it said FEB 06 10 as the bad date, my dad put it in the freezer right when we got it and he took it out about 3 weeks ago. I'm uming just because you put a DAIRY product in the freezer, doesn't mean it will lengthen the time of it being good, just like ice cream or milk. The er is very runny and smells like rotten dairy products yet my dad CONTINUOUSLY insists that it is fine. So does it or doesn't it?
