Legal actions and advice?

i want to do a project maybe about aids or cancer or something. And i would like to sell those red maybe pink ribbons away and donate EVERY SINGLE CENT away to the organisation. i was just curious if i should inform them first or not. Who should i inform and what is the address or link. This may be done in a school level whereby i get everyone to participate. do i even need any kind of permission or can i just go with it?
